Get your first look at King Kong in this new poster for Kong: Skull Island

Earlier this year we got our first look at Kong: Skull Island with some big bones lying around the ground from one of the massive ape's hunts but we had yet to see the eighth wonder of the world's actual presence.

Today at San Diego Comic-Con, we got our first look at what King Kong will look like in the rebooted film in a brand new poster. The poster gives somewhat of a nod to 2014's Godzilla with a solider holding a green flare (there was an incredible scene in Godzilla with red flares) while he gazes up at the beast.

Kong: Skull Island will release March 2017 and will star Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson, John Goodman, and a plethora of other stars. Little is known about the plot of the film right now but it will be set in the same universe as 2014's Godzilla and this movie will lead up to a gladiator match film which squares the two iconic monsters against each other in 2020.
