Today, Capcom made a formal announcement for the newest entry into their popular Ace Attorney series for the DS. The game will be released overseas and is currently in development for the DS at an unspecified time.
The game’s official site was recently updated with some preliminary details in regards to the game including the return of Edgeworth, Kay and Detective Gumshoe as the game’s primary characters. The story will start off at Gourd Lake at a public rally of some sort, although it is not known as to what kind of crime was committed at the scene.
Three features that should be familiar to anyone who’s played the series include:
Investigation
Investigate the crime scene with the cooperation of your partner. A sequence at the site shows Miles and Dick investigating the Gourd Lake crime scene.
Logic
Logic Mode returns for the sequel. Using this mode, you combine information that you gained during your investigations.
Battle
After collecting information during the investigation part, you might end up engaging in a battle with a person related to the crime. You’ll have to be on the lookout for contradictions. Do well here, and you’ll get additional evidence.
