Announced at last week’s Tokyo Game Show, PlayStation 3 owners can look forward to updating their systems once again today with the ability to support Blu-ray 3d discs. Other features making their way into this update includes letting users have the ability to report other users when they receive spam messages, while the Facebook feature lets users connect their games with their Facebook profiles which can be toggled under PlayStation Network → Account Management → Facebook on the XMB interface.
Of course the real catch of this update though is getting a 3d-compatible television in order to take advantage of the playback. Which according to my statistics, is 1 out of every 1,000,000,000.
