One of the best PS4 games is getting even better. Sucker Punch’s last hurrah on the PlayStation 4 is getting an entirely new game mode with Legends later this fall. It will add cooperative multiplayer to the brilliant game for up to four players. Here’s the trailer to get you into the mood!
It really becomes a trend with Sony and supporting their consoles up until the moment. The PlayStation 5 is mere months apart from its expected November release, the PlayStation 4 is still offering plenty of reasons to jump in.
Ghost of Tsushima already was a brilliant send-off for the PS4 as the last major exclusive and soon it’s getting even better. With Legends, Co-Op will be introduced to the open-world samurai fantasy at no additional cost. Outstanding post-launch support by developer Sucker Punch.
Legends is an entirely new experience — it’s a separate mode that doesn’t follow Jin or the companions from his journey, but instead focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima’s single-player campaign focuses on an open world and exploring the natural beauty of the island, but Legends is haunting and fantastical, with locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology and an emphasis on cooperative combat and action.
Legends will offer entirely new Co-Op story missions for groups between 2-4 players. Players will be able to choose between four classes that complement each other and further bolster the cooperative nature of the mode.
Besides story missions, wave-based Survival missions and Raid mission will truly test not only your prowess but how well you work in a team. Raid missions will be added shortly after the Legends update.
