Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, New Game+ and more come next week

Sucker Punch Productions has set the date for the largest update to Ghost of Tsushima. Come next week, October 16th, owners of the outstanding open-world samurai adventure will receive a barrage of new content for absolutely free. Watch the new trailer to see more about Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

One of the best PS4 exclusives is getting even better very soon. With the incoming Version 1.1 update, Ghost of Tsushima will give players plenty of reasons to return to the beautiful yet dangerous world of feudal Japan.

The additions read like a laundry list of fan requests and cover pretty much all facets of the game. The premiere part of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is the titular Legends mode. It’s the first time players will be able to play the game together with friends.

Version 1.1 is a free update for all Ghost of Tsushima players. This update brings the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a brand-new co-op multiplayer mode inspired by Japanese mythology, as well as exciting new updates and New Game+ for our single-player campaign!

Two distinct game modes cover a wide spectrum for your co-op needs. Up to four players can engage in a frantic survival mode where they can choose between four character classes. Expect a supernatural twist here. The second mode features brand-new two-player story missions and ought to be perfect for players who are enjoying the narrative.

But there’s more in Version 1.1. Besides Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, New Game+ is now finally here as well. So, if you already completed the original game but want to spend more time in the brilliant world created, here’s your reason. The introduction of custom gear loadouts, a new horse, a new vendor, new cosmetics, charms, and trophies will keep even veteran players occupied for a long time.

All these awesome additions will become available at no cost as a free content update to every owner of Ghost of Tsushima on October 16th.
