The release of Ubisoft's next big game, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, is closing in but before that, an open beta will be hosted which will include even more content than that their previous closed beta.
Similarly to how Ubisoft did with their latest game, For Honor, Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be getting an open beta right before launch to both gather more feedback from players and to let them test the game out before buying it.
The open beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and it will not require any registration or redeeming of keys to partake it, it will be like the name suggests – an open beta which is available for everyone. The beta opens up on Thursday 23 and will stay open until Monday 27 and goes live PST – 3 am, EST – 6 am, GMT – 11 am, CET – 12 am.
The beta itself will be a bit bigger than the closed one and it comes with a whole new region! The open beta comes with the Itacua region for the closed beta and it will also open up the new Montuyoc for players to explore in jolly cooperation. Size wise it will need 24GB of precious hard drive space across all platforms and is already available to pre-download.
Last but not least, if you play the Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta and buy the game before Match 31 then you will unlock an extra in-game mission, the "Unidad Conspiracy". This new mission tasks players to spark a war between the Santa Blanca Cartel and the military men of Unidad.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands is set for release on March 7, the open beta will run from February 23 to February 27 , or in other words, this upcoming long weekend.
