Ghost Recon: Wildlands is just one month away from release and Ubisoft just finished their first beta last weekend. The beta was only available to those invited by Ubisoft (unless you were lucky enough to have a friend who had access invite you) and those who played it seem to have various opinions on it.
To gather more feedback and get more players in, Ubisoft will be holding an open beta for Wildlands sometime before March. If Ubisoft goes the way of For Honor's beta, the open beta could be the weekend prior to the game's release but this could also prevent reviews of the game from being released in a timely manner.
Ubisoft:
Ghost Recon Wildlands will have an open beta in the weeks to come.

We don't have any confirmed dates yet, but Ubisoft will make an announcement in the coming weeks.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on March 7th.
