Ghosts haunt Mutant Mudds Deluxe in HD on Wii U

While Renegade Kid is preparing for the release of its next game, the developer is also getting ready to drop Mutant Mudds Deluxe on the Wii U eShop on June 13.

Co-founder Jools Watsham announced the news today on his blog. Mutant Mudds originally debuted on Nintendo 3DS, and this version introduces HD graphics, 20 new "ghost" levels with spectral enemies and hazards, and a ghost-shot power-up. It also includes the previously released downloadable content starring Max's grandma, Grannie.

"Having the opportunity to bring Mutant Mudds to Wii U is very special to us,” said Watsham in a press release. “I am particularly excited about the new ghost levels we added, which offer a new gameplay experience thanks to the mischievous ghost mudds who cannot be shot with Max’s regular water cannon!”

The platformer is also available on PC and iOS without these newer features. Renegade Kid will launch its next title, Treasurenauts, in Q4 this year.
