The next stop for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is the Wii U.
Black Forest Games confirmed that it's submitted the platformer to Nintendo and is awaiting a response. The title should arrive on the Wii U eShop in August if feedback is positive.
Twisted Dreams is the successor to Commodore 64 title The Great Giana Sisters, a Mario clone. It came to PC in 2012 and PlayStation Network and Xbox 360 earlier this year. Today it's only $3 on Steam.
Black Forest Games has returned to Kickstarter to raise money for its next project, a local and online co-op run-and-gunner called Ravensdale. The developer needs $500,000 to complete the game. It will launch first on PC. Other platform releases are possible.
