I first saw Motiga's new MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) Gigantic at PAX East back in March, and immediately fell in love with it. From the cartoonish design to the gameplay, which involves team-based fights for supremacy on a map.
While I only got limited hands-on time with the game at PAX, that could be changing soon as Motiga announced closed beta for the game will begin on Friday, August 28th and be available every weekend after that. Closed beta will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 with "hundreds of thousands" of players invited "to help put Gigantic through its paces."
You can sign up for Gigantic's closed beta here, but just make sure if you are playing on PC you meet its new technical requirements. Motiga notes that while Windows 7 is listed, they will eventually released builds for the game on Windows 10 exclusively. Thankfully, the operating system is free for qualifying WIndows devices. If you're signing up for Xbox One, obviously you won't have that problem.
