Gmail is finally getting an ‘Undo Send’ option

Google has had a beta running for the past six years that will finally be seeing the light of day – Undo Send is finally going to be a feature. This feature will delay your emails for a few seconds after you click Send, giving you a small window to furiously click Undo Send before someone sees what you really think of them.

In order to keep your thoughts from being shared with people that you didn't know were attached to an email, head to your Gmail settings and look for Undo Send under the General tab.

It will be roughly in the middle of the page, under Send and Archive — unless you have a company email, in that case it will not be there. You will be able to choose if Gmail holds your email for 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds (that's about it for options). Undo Send will not be available at launch on your mobile device, though it will be available some time in the future.

Google hides away most of their betas in the Google Labs, if you have some free time you should check it out.
