Yesterday, Activision announced the Skylanders SWAP Force, the next installment in the company's popular franchise that brings tangible character figurines to life in a digital world. The concept of this new game is to allow "swapability", that is letting you change the top and bottom halves of the Skylanders toys to create your own characters.
As you can see from the trailer, there are quite a few combinations of characters. According to Activision, Portal Masters will be able to reconfigure the 16 SWAP Force characters into more than 250 unique combinations.
Skylanders SWAP Force will be featured at Toy Fair 2013, February 10-13 at the Javits Center in NYC, in booth 3061.
