God of War and Sly Cooper collections headed to PlayStation Vita

Two Sony-exclusive series are returning as new collections for the PlayStation Vita.

Sony Santa Monica Studios announced today that God of War 1 and 2 are coming to the handheld as a double pack. It will cost $30, and it will release on May 6. The two titles originally launched on the PlayStation 2 but later came to PS3 as a remastered collection.

In addition, a Sly Cooper collection is headed to Vita on May 27. It includes the entire PS2 trilogy — Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racconus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves — in high definition. A similar Sly collection came to the PS3 a few years ago.

That should make a nice companion to Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the fourth entry in the Sly series, which is available for both PS3 and Vita.
