God of War for PS4 gets another hint at a 2017 release

Earlier this month, some God of War ads popped up in Spain in celebration of Father's Day. While the advertisements did not contain any hint at a release day, it was suspected that the appearance of the PlayStation 4's God of War meant we could be looking forward to seeing a release date soon.

Now, there's even more hope at seeing God of War this year – and not just on display at E3 2017. Christopher Judge, the voice of Kratos in God of War, has added a little extra detail to his description on Twitter, a date.

Below, you can see that 2017 has been attached to God of War.

Back in December, the game was reported to be fully playable by God of War by developers. There's no release date as of yet and this confirms nothing, but it's nice to just… believe it's coming sooner rather than later.
