GOG Connect lets you add games from your Steam Library to GOG for Free

GOG.com is all about being player friendly and they just took it one step further with a new feature they are calling GOG Connect. GOG Connect lets you connect your Steam Account with your GOG profile and will add any compatible games to your GOG library free of charge.

GOG.com will give you DRM free versions of the games along with a number of digital extras (including manuals, soundtracks, etc) and you don't need to go through any game client to play them. The availabilty of the games with GOG Connect will come and go, so keep checking back.

There are currently 20 games that you can transfer over from your Steam profile, and here are a few of them:

  • The Witness
  • Braid
  • FTL: Faster Than Light
  • The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
  • Galactic Civilizations 3
  • Trine Enchanted Edition
  • Saints Row 2
  • Shadowrun Returns
  • The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
