The Piñata Madness sale has returned to DRM-free digital games retailer, GOG.com and to help get things kicked off; they are giving away a free game for the next 48 hours. From now until August 16th at 1 PM UTC, gamers can grab Deadlight: Director's Cut, just by heading over to GOG.com, signing in, and clicking the "Get For Free" button right at the top of the page.
For those who are unfamiliar with the GOG Piñata sale, it is a limited time event where you pay $3 for a digital piñata which holds one of the 100+ games that GOG has put on sale. The game's value is anywhere between $5.99 to $44.99, so no matter what, you are getting a bargain. You just can't choose which game you get.
If you get a game that you already own, the code then becomes giftable for you to share with anyone you want.
