GOG is giving away free copies of The Witcher

GOG is wrapping up its birthday celebration this week by giving away downloads of The Witcher for free. OK, now you look bad for forgetting to buy it a gift.

Make a purchase between now and Oct. 17 and GOG will throw in the Enhanced Edition of CD Projekt RED's title at no extra charge. The action role-playing game normally costs $10.

GOG also slashed the price of Divinity: Dragon Commander by 40 percent. The strategy RPG released in August from Larian Studios and is selling for $24. The classic point-and-click trilogy Legend of Kyrandia is also 33 percent off for a total of $12.

The PC and Mac digital-distribution service turns 5 this year.
