Goldberg says being part of WWE 2K17 is a ‘dream come true’

Bill Goldberg has been speaking to WWE.com about his recent involvement in the upcoming video game, WWE 2K17.

WWE 2K17's pre-order bonus content will include a playable Goldberg character. So, unlike recent titles, fans won't need to download any lookalikes from the creation suite this time around.

After years of not being associated with WWE, many wrestling fans have been wondering what Goldberg's initial reaction would be.

During his interview with WWE.com, he said: “It’s a dream come true. To be able to come back and be included in WWE 2K17, it’s a huge honour. It’s just a really cool deal to be a character in WWE 2K17. Whether it’s Nitro or Halloween Havoc, to have me as an available character, it’s really cool. It’s a tribute.”

When the former world heavyweight champion was asked about who he would like his character to cross paths with on the game, he had some interesting responses.

“Oh man, there’s a list that’s a mile long of potential victims,” Goldberg said.

“There are a number of people that I never got the opportunity to wrestle in an actual ring that I’d love to make happen for the first time in WWE 2K17. I’d love to wrestle a Bruiser Brody from the past. I’d love to wrestle Andre the Giant from the past.”

WWE 2K17 is set for an October 2017 release for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
