Google and Microsoft celebrate Super Mario Bros anniversary with Easter Eggs

I clicked for far too long.

Yesterday marked the 30 year anniversary since Super Mario Bros. released on the Nintendo Entertainment System. The series went on to build a legacy that is deeply ingrained in the gaming community

Looking to celebrate the behemoth of a game that sparked September 13th being known as "8-bit Day." Microsoft and Google have created Easter Eggs for internet users to discover, but as with most Easter Eggs there's always a chance you could miss it.

Going to Microsoft's homepage and entering the Konami code will reward you with both a cute 8-bit message and Nyan cat riding a t-rex that has arm extensions.

As for Google, searching Super Mario Bros will give you a clickable coin block. It's a fun way of celebrating!
