GoPets:
Vacation Island Now Available in Retail Stores Nationwide
Share Customizable Pets Online With
Interactive Title on Nintendo DS
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today
announced that GoPets: Vacation Island is now available in retail stores in
North America. Developed for the Nintendo DS system, this interactive title
offers kids of all ages the ability to connect with friends and showcase their
very own customizable GoPets online.
"Konami consistently aims to provide fun,
interactive content for young gamers," said Rozita Tolouey, Director of
Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "GoPets: Vacation Island takes
advantage of all that the Nintendo DS has to offer, and provides kids the
opportunity to share their adventures with friends online."
GoPets: Vacation Island is a virtual pet game
with a social networking twist, allowing players to create pets that can travel
the world, visit friends, and have a party for up to 8 characters, all at the
same time. Players have the opportunity to customize and dress up their dog, cat
or pony with various accessories, including dresses and hats. Taking advantage
of the Nintendo DS hardware, players can also compete in mini-games and download
special items via DS Download Stations. As an added social bonus, players can
also design items to send to other friends online and earn special shells to buy
additional items for items for their very own world-traveling pet.
GoPets: Vacation Island is rated "E" for Everyone
by the ESRB and is available for an SRP of $29.99. For more information, please
