One of the most stunning indie games of recent memory got a new trailer. Sable is a true artisan dream where every moment feels like a comic painting brought to life. In the new Gamescom trailer, you can see open-world traversal and exploration. Watch it below!
The two-man team at indie studio Shedworks has crafted a truly awe-inspiring experience with their new project. It’s hard to overstate just how good the game looks, and with it being an open-world adventure title, there ought to be plenty of reason to see and explore.
In Sable, the player is put in the role of a nomad in a mysterious and serene post-apocalyptic world. But unlike other nomads, you want to travel the barren world and uncover its mysteries. Aiding you in that goal is a nifty hoverbike vehicle that can be customized to your liking.
Sable is a coming-of-age tale of discovery through exploration across a strikingly rendered open world desert. Go on a deeply personal journey across an alien planet as the young Sable, exploring ancient monuments, ruined architecture, and ships fallen from the cosmos, all while learning the history of its inhabitants and discovering her place in the world.
We’re getting some nice Zelda Breath of the Wild vibes with not only the world but also character movement mechanics. The titular Sable is as versatile on the endless desert with her hoverbike as is she on foot. Climb deserted locales, discover long-stranded spaceships, and solve puzzles in the mysterious wasteland. You’ll encounter many inhabitants of this intriguing world who’ll need your help to survive.
Sable is slated to launch in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
