Gotham City Impostors to hit XBLA/PSN next week

If you're ready to pose as two of the most famous comic book characters of all time, Batman and Joker, your chance is finally on its way as Warner and DC Entertainment announced today that Gotham City Impostors will release on February 8 for XBLA and PSN.

Originally, the Batman themed game was set to release in early January, but the developers wanted to test it just a bit more. So, instead of a full-fledged released, a beta was introduced for further testing of the game. Now, the game will be released on February 7 in the US for PC and February 8 for PSN and XBLA.

Gotham City Impostors is a downloadable first person shooter that allows players to take control of the caped crusader's posers or if you so choose, one of the Joker's impostors. When released, Gotham City Impostors will cost you 1,200 Microsoft points on XBLA or $15 on the PlayStation Network. Until then, you can try out the game via the open beta and decide just what kind of impostor you really are. [Eurogamer]
