KAZ: Pushing The Virtual Divide, a documentary about PlayStation racing series Gran Turismo and its creator Kazunori Yamauchi, will make its debut on Wednesday, January 22 through the video streaming service Hulu.
According to Sony, "KAZ transports the viewer through a cinematic journey of dedication and creativity through the lens of Kazunori Yamauchi, the architect behind Gran Turismo’s birth and 15 year evolution." Check out the trailer below.
The documentary was filmed over the course of a year and explores twelve international locations, revealing historical footage and never before told stories by influential people in the automotive and gaming industries. KAZ is directed by Tamir Mscovici and captured by cinematographer Anthony Arendt (Avatar).
In addition to the documentary's debut, Sony will host a round table discussion on Twitch with Kazunori Yamauchi, Tamir Moscovici, Jordan Greer of GT Planet, and 2013 GT Academy winner Nick McMillen. They will also be hosting giveaways, inclding $1MM in-game credits for Gran Turismo 6.
