Last year, Polyphony Digital officially delayed Gran Turismo Sport from its November 2016 release to a release at some point this year. While there's not too much news on a release date, there is news on a closed beta!
The closed beta for Gran Turismo Sport will begin on March 17th on the PlayStation 4 for U.S. based players. During the beta, participants will be able to test out vehicles and tracks from a select rotation that switches out daily. In addition to this, players will be able to race against one another online.
This beta will mark the first time that players will be able to see the Driver Profile, Sportsmanship Rating (tracks a player’s behavior and manners on-track) and Driver Rating (represents the overall speed of the player and how well they perform in races).
The beta phase will not be available to all PlayStation owners, only a few and will only be available at specific times a day.
