It appears as though the Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City has been rated for the Xbox One by the ESRB. This rating might not be hinting at much, but it could also be hinting at an upcoming backward compatibility announcement.
Without any confirmation from Microsoft or Rockstar Games, it's hard to say. However, Red Dead Redemption received an ESRB rating prior to getting announced for the Xbox One via the backward compatibility feature – so there's hope.
Episodes from Liberty City released as a standalone compilation of DLC from GTA IV, which released in 2009. The standalone DLC released for the Xbox 360 in 2009, featuring both The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
The DLC episodes brought new radio stations to the game, new multiplayer features and a new story.
