Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto V in 2013 to massive financial success, breaking records left and right. The game even managed to sell a billion dollars worth of copies within 3 days of release! Just under 3 years later, Grand Theft Auto V has officially shipped 65 million copies. Needless to say, Rockstar probably has more money than they can stuff in their pockets.
In February, Take-Two reported that the game was at 60 million units shipped and just 3 months later they have shipped another 5 million! Players are eating the action packed crime fantasy up as much as they can while Rockstar continue to support the game with free updates to the game's beloved online mode. To put these numbers in perspective, Grand Theft Auto V alone has sold more individually than the Halo series, Metal Gear series and Tomb Raider series.
FUN FACT:
Grand Theft Auto 5 alone has now individually outsold the Halo series, Tekken series, Tomb Raider series, Metal Gear Series etc

In other Rockstar Games news, the developer is gearing up to reveal their new projects "soon" according to Take-Two. It'll be interesting to see if the famed developer comes out of their shell to present their game at E3 this year or if they'll do one of their other out of the blue announcements.
Grand Theft Auto V is out now on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
