One of the CW's major super hero television shows, 'The Flash', has been picking up some steam lately. Fans have grown so fond of actor Grant Gustin, who plays as the scarlet speedster, that some of them have taken it upon themselves to start false rumors in attempt to, well, I guess convince the studio to cast Gustin for the Justice League Universe version (film version) of The Flash.
Recently, fans expressed how they would like to see Grant Gustin reprise his role as The Flash in the upcoming DC films — Justice League Part 1 and the standalone Flash movie. However, DC has already cast Ezra Miller to play the Flash.
This led angry fans to take to Twitter and spread false rumors of Gustin 'bashing' Miller on his upcoming role. Gustin responded to the false rumors, defending Miller as the new Flash. Here's what he had to say:
DC plans to keep its TV and movie universe completely different, unlike the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I would have liked to see DC connect their properties as well, but I guess we're going to have to wait to see how Miller is as The Flash before we judge.
The Flash will have a little cameo in the upcoming blockbuster — Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but we will get to see him more prominently in Justice League Part One which debuts November 17, 2017; and The Flash standalone movie which is currently scheduled to release on March 23, 2018.
If you want to see Grant Gustin as The Flash, you can tune in every Tuesday 8 pm EST on The CW.
