Grasshopper Manufacture to release student-made games on PlayStation Plus

Grasshopper Manufacture will release five student-developed games on PlayStation Plus. They will be available to Japanese subscribers on June 21 at no cost.

The lucky titles include an action game called Octalide; the block-pushing Eledive; Mou, Sou Suru Shika Nai!!, in which players direct a line of ants; the puzzle-platformer Uni Uni Union; and Volt, which stars a robot in a power plant.

The winning students were participants in Grasshopper's Game Campus Festa, which provided PlayStation Vita development kits to Japanese game design schools last year. The studio judged all nine team submissions over the course of four months.
