'Arrow' star Stephen Amell might be officially competing on NBC's American Ninja Warrior.
Fans of the CW's Arrow will definitely be familiar with Oliver Queen's signature workout, the salmon ladder. Considered one of the most difficult core exercises possible, it quickly became a favorite of actor Stephen Amell in preparation for the role, so much so that it was written into the series.
Being a naturally athletic person, Amell is always up for a physical challenge. Most notably, he agreed to fight pro wrestler, Stardust, in the ring for WWE Raw. Now, with his penchant for his salmon ladder training and superhero wherewithal, he's decided to take to twitter and pitch his candidacy for another series that might cater to his regimen, NBC's American Ninja Warrior:
Hey @ninjawarrior – I would like to compete on your show in 2017.

While fans of both shows were skeptical that this idea might come to pass, host of ANW, Matt Iseman, responded with the following tweet:
We accept. Can we borrow the Arrow Cave for the City Finals? https://t.co/4xwcO8RJC9

Now, this may not be an official confirmation and could easily be some playful banter, but it seems kinda cruel to play with the emotions of fans like this. Assuming the viewership will stand by the choice, one can only hope NBC will make this happen and allow the Green Arrow to prove himself in the ultimate hero's challenge.
