While 343 Industries lowers the price of some Halo 5 Warzone REQs, the developers have been secretly working on bringing back one of the best game modes… Grifball. That's right, the Rooster Teeth creation is finally making a comeback.
Apparently, Halo 5's Grifball court will be "unlike any Grifball court" we have "ever seen before." 343 Industries has been doing their best to recreate the "delicate balance" that the Gravity Hammer brings to the game.
According to Max Grossman, the multiplayer designer, the team is trying to "make the most exciting Grifball yet, complete with thrusting Grif, Ground Pound kills, and ball throwing." It appears as though the developers are on the right path. Grossman went on to reveal how fun testing the mode has been, "Playing Grifball during playtests over the last few months has been some of the most fun we have had in the new building."
If you're unfamiliar with Grifball, it's a game mode that takes two teams and pits them against one another; each player is armed with a Gravity Hammer and a Sword. The objective of the game mode is to take a bomb from their goal and drop it in the opposing teams goal.
Grifball isn't the only thing making a comeback, Fiesta is coming back too.
