GROUND
CONTROL(tm) SHIPS JUNE 1st!

Sierra
Studios Announces Massive Entertainment’s Frenetically Paced, Real
Time Strategy Game To Hit Store Shelves

BELLEVUE,
WA (June 1, 2000) – Sierra Studios announced today that Ground
Control(tm) (http://www.groundcontrol1.com), the debut PC title by Swedish-based
developer Massive Entertainment, has shipped worldwide to retail
outlets. Winner of IGN PC’s "Best Strategy Game of Show" at E3 last
month and nominee for The Game Critics’ "Best
Strategy Game of E3 2000,"

Ground
Control is about to take consumers by storm with a technologically advanced
real-time strategy (RTS) experience.

"Over
two years ago we set out to create a strategic, yet fast-paced, innovative
game that would appeal to RTS and action enthusiasts alike," said Martin
Walfisz, CEO of Massive Entertainment. "We now feel though we’ve succeeded
in creating this vision, as we start to see Ground Control achieve awards
and accolades from the media and know that it’s going to market with such
extraordinary consumer demand."

"Ground
Control has received unprecedented support worldwide from both its fans
and the press," said Jim Veevaert, vice president of marketing at Sierra
Studios. "Preorders have surpassed what we ever expected and we believe
consumers have just set the stage for this game to make a significant
mark on the gaming world. Fans can surely anticipate more top notch
titles from this incredibly talented development team."

Ground
Control combines classic strategy elements with incredible 3-D technology
previously seen for action games. It focuses its gameplay on tactics,
strategy, and the art of battle. The end result is greater realism, faster-paced
action, and an unparalleled player experience. Played out through
a variety of missions, players must take control of their customizable
squads of soldiers, tanks, hovercraft, aircraft, and other units,
as they fight for control of a distant world.
