GTA 5 becomes UK’s fourth biggest-selling game ever

Grand Theft Auto 5, which has reportedly surpassed 3.6 million copies sold in the U.K., is now the country's fourth biggest-selling game ever.

The news comes from the official ChartTrack company, which believes Rockstar's open-world action-adventure will claim the all-time number one spot within the next three months.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to most who have been tracking the sales of GTA 5. In September 2013, it became the UK's fastest-selling title ever, overtaking the lifetime sales of Grand Theft Auto 4 in just three weeks. GTA 5 later went on to break seven Guinness World Records, including "Fastest video game to gross $1 billion."

And to think, all of this was achieved with only Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Imagine the success should Rockstar finally decide to port it to PC or bring it to the Xbox One and PS4.
