GTA 5: Celebrate July 4th with double GTA$ and RP in GTA Online

Nothing says America like Grand Theft Auto, and as a result, Rockstar Games has announced that there will be a double RP and GTA$ bonus starting today and running through July 6th.

Additionally, all of the vendors and merchants in the game will be handing out a 25% discount. One of the weapons, the Firework Launcher, is only available for a limited time and fireworks won't be available for purchase after this event.

The Independence Day Playlist, which features events such as the parachuting race Americana, will hand out double the GTA$ and all other GTA Online jobs and events will provide a double RP bonus.

All of these extra goodies arrive in preparation for the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update which will be out later this month. These extras are all available now and will last one week through next Monday, July 6th. Make sure you log on to pick up your firework launcher and send us the videos of your 4th of July celebration in the game!
