Many gamers are experiencing frame rate issues when playing Grand Theft Auto 5's online multiplayer, ever since the release of the "Ill-Gotten Gains" part two update.
People have been echoing several frame rate problems on Reddit's Gaming subreddit, r/Games, gaining many upvotes as a result. The problem has only really came to light after the latest GTA 5 Title Update 1.28 — which brought Ill-Gotten Gains pt.2 and a disappearing car bug – leaving gamers highly frustrated with the gaming experience.
In the wake of these issues, Rockstar Support has claimed that game developers are doing all they can to restore the game to it's normal state. A statement reads: “We have received reports of lower framerate in GTAV and GTA Online after Title Update 1.28 on PC, and we are looking into these reports now.”
This might well sound like a response from Rockstar; however, many gamers are well aware that Rockstar Support is not always the most solid source of information. Thus far Rockstar has left many people disgruntled by the gameplay post-update, and without a real answer on when a potential fix will come.
