As you may have guessed, Rockstar Games is "deeply disappointed" by the Grand Theft Auto 5 leaks that took place over the weekend. In making the wonderful announcement that the highly anticipated game went gold, Rockstar took the opportunity to encourage gamers not to spoil anything that may have been revealed early as a result of the leak.
"As you can imagine, we are deeply disappointed by leaks and spoilers being spread in advance of the game's launch. GTA V represents years of hard work by many people across the world, and we all couldn't be more excited to finally share it with you properly this September 17th," Rockstar wrote. "Please stay tuned here at the Rockstar Newswire for all announcements about GTA V between now and game release as we definitely still have more to officially reveal."
Rockstar particularly warned its users not to "proliferate such things [on the website] as we certainly don't want any misinformation spread from things that are fake nor do we want spoilers regarding anything that might not be true."
