GTA 5: Here’s what that mysterious $27,000,000 item found In GTA Online’s files is

There has been a bit of drama on the GTA Forums. Someone found a game file for a single item that costs $27,000,000 in GTA Online. What on earth could be worth $27 million in GTA Online? Well, there was plenty of speculation on what the item was, but it turned out that it was a bunch of hype for nothing.

It all started on the GTA Forums (via MrBossFTW), where one forum goer, Fun De Panda, asked a simple question about how many warehouses were in GTA Online. After someone answered the question, Fun De Panda revealed that they had found something in the game worth $27,000,000 and that they had suspected that it was a warehouse.

Fun De Panda went on to speculate that the crazy expensive item was a cut feature from the Executives and Other Criminals update, but the user wasn't entirely sure.

From there, further digging was done. Looking at the files for the game, it was discovered that one of the apartments was cut from the game. It's file had been left blank, after even more digging into the mystery item, Fun De Panda stated that they discovered the $27 million dollar item was "something special. Just like the offices."

Fun De Panda went on to suggest that this could mean mansions were coming to the game.

Unfortunately, this theory was short lived. It was soon discovered that the item was probably related to the yachts. After that conclusion was drawn another forum goer, Lubas, did some math. Their math revealed that every maxed out yacht combined equaled a total of $27,000,000.

You'd think that would be the end of the speculation, but it didn't end there. While most forum users believed that Lubas' finding was more than likely the case for the $27,000,000 mystery item, other users went on to still hope for mansions.
