Rockstar Games has released a new patch for Grand Theft Auto 5. While official patch notes have yet to be revealed by the developer, it's believed that many of GTA Online's farming exploits have been removed.
Users have reported a decrease in XP and money paid out for certain missions as to prevent easy farming. It's unclear what else the 38MB (on PS3) and 59MB (on Xbox 360) patch addresses, but it seems there are still issues with characters, items, and money disappearing.
Earlier this week, Rockstar acknowledged the bug and assured players they are continuing to look into the issue. In the meantime, the developer has issued all sorts of advice for those experiencing missing characters — including warning users not to create a new character if you see yours missing.
We'll be sure to update you once Rockstar posts the change-log of fixes in this latest update.
