GTA 5 PC spotted for late November/early December release

We've all heard the rumors of Grand Theft Auto 5 coming to PC. Rockstar has yet to confirm such a thing, but that hasn't prevented retailers from accidentally leaking a PC version.

Two new retailers, Gameseek and Zavvi, have now also leaked GTA 5 for PC. The former lists a release date for November 22, 2013, while the latter has it coming out on December 6, 2013. As wccftech.com points out, both release dates are quite close, indicating there could be some validity to this.

It's also worth nothing that both the German and France sides of Amazon also list GTA 5 for PC, though they refrain from mentioning a release date.

At this point, it's almost certain a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 exists. The big questions are when will Rockstar formally announce it, and when can we expect it to release? The dates are somewhat surprising given how long it took Rockstar to port GTA 4 over to PC.

GTA 5 has already earned $1 billion in sales, just three days after its console release, so I doubt they are in any rush. But in any case, there seems to be equally high demand for a PC version. A petition on change.org currently has over 400,000 signatures calling for GTA 5's release on PC. Make it happen, Rockstar.
