Take-Two Interactive held their earnings call today and covered quite a bit of ground with it. The company mostly focused on numbers, as is intended with an earnings call, revealing that the biggest games for the company were contributors over the past year were Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, NBA 2K16, WWE 2K16, NBA 2K15, and XCOM 2.
GTA V itself has sold over 65 million games worldwide, with 5 million of the game sales coming from sales in the last three months. We could prattle on and on about sales, percentages and the amount of money Take-Two has made, but the biggest news wasn't any of that.
It was that Rockstar is currently hard at work on some new games:
"Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon."
That's right, the developers of GTA and Red Dead are hard at work on new projects. There have been plenty of rumors around another Red Dead, as well as a trademark for something called 'Judas' from Take-Two – so guess on what they are working on won't come easily.
Luckily, E3 is around the corner.
