GTA 5’s Trevor (Steven Ogg) Becomes Series Regular for The Walking Dead Season 8

For those who aren't aware, or those who had moments of, "Where do I know that guy?", Steven Ogg, the actor who portrays Simon in AMC's The Walking Dead is also the voice actor and model for Trevor from Grand Theft Auto V. That being said, Ogg is now being promoted to a series regular for The Walking Dead for season 8.

Reported by Variety, Ogg, along with two other actors, were promoted to series regulars for next season. His character Simon is Negan's right-hand man and a member of the Saviors.

Season 8 will focus on the war between the Saviors and Rick's alliance of towns. His promotion implies that Simon will play a larger role.

Steven Ogg has had appearances on TV before, playing roles in Better Call Saul and Westworld. Although he's still probably best known for GTA V's Trevor.

The Walking Dead season 8 is due to air in late 2017.
