GTA Online gets Halloween update with a UFO in San Andreas

GTA Online is celebrating spooky season, just like Red Dead Online. GTA Online’s newest update features a bunch of new content, including the return of peyote plants. For those unfamiliar, peyote plants can be found in the open world and they allow you to transform into a random animal.

Players can also participate in a new business battle in Fort Zancudo that requires you to loot a crashed UFO. This leaked earlier this year thanks to dataminers but up until now, it was unclear what purpose it served or how to trigger it.

As always, this week’s GTA Online update also includes various bonuses such as free clothes, discounts, and more. You can view the overall breakdown below.

  • An all-new Business Battle featuring a mysterious downed UFO with extraterrestrial gear
  • Double GTA$ & RP in Alien Survivals, Business Battles, and gruesome Adversary Modes, including the Halloween Bunker Series, Slasher, Slashers, Lost vs. Damned, Condemned, Come Out to Play, and Beast vs. Slasher
