GTA Online's eagerly awaited stimulus package, in which players will receive a cool $500,000 for the troubles experienced at launch, will not be distributed until Rockstar has fixed all of issues causing loss of progress in the multiplayer mode.
"We should have an update very soon," Rockstar said in the comment section of its Newswire. "We just want to make sure any loss of progress issues are fully sorted before we distribute the cash. Thanks for your patience while we work on that."
Originally, Rockstar's two-in game deposits of $250,000 were expected to be given to players this week. That no longer seems to be the case, but we'll continue to monitor the situation.
