Grand Theft Auto Online's "Executives and Other Criminals," the latest content update for Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode, is now live.
With it comes new gameplay modes and opportunities for luxurious living, including new customizable apartments, stilt hosues in the Vinewood Hills, and the extravagent, fully staffed and upgradeable Super Yacht. There's also a new multiplayer mode that'll see players become either a VIP of a notorious criminal organization or a bodyguard for VIP.
VIP's who create their own organization will have access to new co-op Jobs, challenges, and special abilities in Freemode, as well as the power to hire and fire other players for their team of bodyguards. On the flipside, Bodyguards can earn a regular paycheck as well as other benefits such as RP, GTA$, and stat boosts for working for a VIP's organization.
Organizations will be able to go head to head in Freemode, with new missions that make use of special executive defense options, including new armored vehicle variants like the Turreted Limo and missile defense system of the Yacht.
Some already existing Freemode Events, such as King of the Castle and Moving Target, have been automatically adapted for organizations. Additionally, the update adds a new Extraction Adversary Mode that tasks a team of Bodyguards to search, locate, and safely extract an Executive from a downed jet before a Hit Squad eliminates the target.
The highlight, of course, is the addition of the new livable yacht, which includes its own staff, boat, and helicopter, as well as a defense system that shoots anything that flies too close to it. It appears there are three variations of the yacht, ranging in price from $6-$8 million. There are also a number of customization options to add some flair.
All of the new content that comes with the Executives and Other Criminals update is only available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
