Today's release of Title Update 1.05 for GTA Online means we're just a few days away from the promised Stimulus Package which will reward players with $500,000 in-game cash for the problems experienced during the launch of GTA 5's multiplayer mode.
In announcing the release of update 1.05 today for PS3 and Xbox 360, Rockstar Games added, "On a related note, we anticipate the GTA$ Stimulus will be distributed in the next couple of days following this Title Update."
"The Stimulus will go out over the course of a full day once it's initiated so don't be alarmed if people on your friends list receive it before or later than you do," the developer added. "Enjoy and we certainly appreciate your patience and understanding as we sort out these remaining issues."
Rockstar first announced the Stimulus Package in early October, but refused to actually release it until all of the bugs regarding loss of progress issues were fixed. With today's update apparently doing just that, it shouldn't be long until we start to see the cash added to our in-game accounts.
