GTA Online title update for PS3 and Xbox 360 in the works, possibly releasing tomorrow

Rockstar Games has announced that they are currently working on a title update for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that will address the commonly reported issues with Grand Theft Auto Online. "We hope to have it out for download as soon as tomorrow," the developer wrote in a status update today.

GTA Online, the online multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto 5, launched on Tuesday, but was plagued by a number of glitches, bugs, and server issues.

Despite the warnings issued by Rockstar prior to its release, fans have been clamoring for fixes. It's not quite as bad as some other botched game launches (I'm looking at you Diablo 3 and SimCity) but it's still a reminder that we've got a long way to go before we can require only-online games. At least with GTA 5 you have an optional single player story that can be enjoyed fully offline. GTA Online is just an added enjoyment (if you can manage to get online).
