GTA: San Andreas sneaks onto the PS3

It was just over a year ago when Rockstar ported over GTA San Andreas to Xbox 360. Now, if you remember it was an upscaled version to 720P and replaced the old Xbox Arcade version that used to be available. Without any announcement or fanfare, Rockstar has also released the game on PS3, and it's available now.

However, its new home on the PS3 also comes with a pretty big price increase. The new, current price of $14.99 is nearly four times the old price of $3.99 when it released on the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 version also has the price increase in effect. Bummer.

It's the same version released on Xbox 360 from last year and comes with full trophy support as well. You can purchase it from the PlayStation store now.
