Drinkbox Studios has announced that its brawling platformer Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition will be coming to PlayStation 4 on July 1.
The original Guacamelee was released last April for PS3 and Vita. This new version for the PS4, features the same great fun but with the costume and Infierno DLC already included. Drinkbox has also added "a bunch" of new content as well, such as an extra save slot, new costumes, creepy hanging dolls, two extra levels, new and improved enemies, chicken egg bombs, a dimension-switching ability called "Shadow Swap" and a new power called INTENSO. There's also a new boss, El Trio, aka "Terrible Trio," which is a three-headed skeleton in charge of assembling Carlos Calaca's army of skeletons.
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition will be priced at $14.99, although Drinkbox is looking into offering some sort of incentive for owners of the original game on PS3 or Vita.
