Guild Wars 2 gets a PAX South discount this weekend

Guild Wars 2 will be having a big announcement for Heart of Thorns during PAX South, with Jennifer Hale hosting the panel titled Guild Wars 2: Beyond the Point of No Return.

The event will start on January 24th at 8:30am PST / 11:30am EST and will be streamed on the game's official Twitch channel.

To get people excited about the upcoming Heart of Thorns expansion, if that's what it really is, ArenaNet will be discounting their digital version of the base game to $9.99, allowing gamers that haven't yet jumped on the Guild Wars 2 train to do so at a very reasonable price.

Guild Wars 2 has been kicking ass and taking names since its release with massive content updates that propelled the story along to a climactic conclusion. And with no subscription fee to be found, that means gamers can play to their heart's content. And hey, we loved it too. You can check out our review right here.
