Guitar Hero Live gets user-created playable music video to Ed Sheeran’s “Sing”

I'm very much impressed with Guitar Hero Live's music video streaming mode. In my review, I highlighted this mode as offering a slew of great songs, all tied together as a couple of ongoing channels that constantly stream music 24/7, and you can simply join in by pressing a button. It's genius.

The GH team had asked users to submit a video of themselves lip-synching to Ed Sheeran's "Sing," and those videos would then be cut into one large music video that could then be played in-game. Aside from a bunch of fans submitting their videos, notable celebs like Shaquille O'Neal, Stephen Curry and Erin Andrews also lended their "talents."

The music video itself was edited by Alan Chimenti, who also worked on Katy Perry's 'Roar' music video. The result is actually pretty awesome, and some of the lip-synchers really get into it.
