Gunblitz brings the indie shmup action, out now for PC

Last month, I checked out a demo for Gunblitz, an upcoming space shoot 'em up from indie developer Rapture Game Studios. The demo gave me a close look at the retro-inspired shooting action and high level of challenge that the game offered.

Rapture has just launched Gunblitz, and it's available on the studio's site now. You can purchase the developer's first title for $10.00. If you haven't already, you should definitely check out the demo. I imagine a lot of old school shmup fans will dig this one.

In addition to PC, Gunblitz is also scheduled for release on the upcoming Ouya console. The game will likely be the Android-based platformer's very first space shooter, so be on the lookout for that if you plan on purchasing the system.
